5 Favorite Winter Children's Read-Alouds

I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a book
— J.K. Rowling

I met my best friend and her son (my daughters best friend) at Barns and Noble after my daughter's dance class the other day. There is something about books and especially children’s books that I love! They feel magical.

Honestly, children’s books were one of my favorite parts of teaching school. I used them to teach every subject and also life lessons. There are so many reading strategies, along with life lessons, fluency practice, and many other lessons that can be taught with just one children’s book. I would read my class at least 4 to 5 picture books a day and have carried that into my children’s lives as well.

I didn't want to overwhelm you with a list of all my favorite books, so I narrowed it down to five of my favorite winter reads.

I hope this list helps. I think you and your littles will enjoy all 5 of these books.

Outfit Details: This outfit is so comfy and perfect for running errands. Tee | Cardigan | Jeans | Boots

This tee is amazing. I have accidentally dried it twice, and it is still perfect. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
